Ed Schieffelin's Territorial Days

Explore Tombstone

Ed Schieffelin's Territorial Days second weekend in March.
Anyone going?
Stagecoach rides, street performers, gunfight re-enactments, championship horse cart races, all-pet parade, Firemen's Ball, mining competition, prospecting displays, and Schieffelin look-alike contest.
It was Ed Schieffelin who discovered silver at Tombstone Arizona in 1877.

Western USA

Western USA

In Oct., 2004 I visited Mount Rushmore in South Dakota
As I stood there looking up at the 4 presidents, a gentleman nearby turned with a smile on his face and said "it was worth the trip".

exploring the American West

As I am now on disability, I finally have time to travel a bit. Especially of interest to me is the American West.
Have only done a small amount of travel in the past. Researching Tombstone, Arizona since I plan to return for the first time in years.
